Looking Out at 2019's Horizon

Hi, friends!  Its March already and I can hardly believe that.  Months and seasons blow past so quickly, I feel like I need to take a glance at the Dollar Section bins at Target to remind me where we are!

Easter is now upon us...the BEST time of year for Believers in Jesus for sure.  I'm excited about what God has in store this Easter season and beyond.  2019 is looking like a thrilling, scary, rewarding ride for sure.  But all things are possible in Jesus.

In March, I will have the thrill of speaking for a women's retreat in Pennsylvania.   I've only done this twice before and its totally a stretch for me, but I'm excited.  I hope the weather cooperates--it has been a wild winter, right?  I fly back, have a couple of days of rest, and then Ron and I are off to Seattle!  We'll be presenting workshops and hanging out at our booth at the NorthWest Ministry Convention.  We've done this oodles of times before and always leave with renewed love for the people out there serving the Lord in so many incredible ways.  While we're there in Seattle, we'll be doing a concert in Kirkland.  Can't wait.

This April I will be headed to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe to celebrate Easter singing with and for the beautiful children and families there.  My friend Tammy has lived there for years and shared our music all over.  She has been asking for years if we could come minister to the beautiful children there, and it looks like finally, this is the year!  If you're on my mailing list, you should have received an email about this already. This is a very different kind of trip for me in that there are so many unknowns, and I'm going without Ron (there is NO way he can be absent from all his audio/video duties during Easter at Pacific Coast Church).  I've asked for financial support to get me there and people have been responding, which is such a blessing.  Any remaining funds will go towards the amazing ministries Tammy, her husband Jeff and their team in Bulawayo.  We will be doing outreaches for children all over the place!  I am SO excited, have butterflies in my stomach, and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store.  If you would like to read more, see a few more photos, and/or support me on this trip, please see my GoFundMe Page

April also has other events like concerts, speaking for a special event for homeless women, another conference, Mom's group and school in the Bay Area.  Every single event the Lord brings our way, I take so seriously and prayerfully as an opportunity to share the love of Jesus through song, friendship, word and deed.  As I've said many times, I want to live my life like one big THANK YOU to Him!

In May, I will be dragging these old legs through the streets of Costa Mesa and Corona del Mar on a 1/2 Marathon for Team World Vision.  Although that distance is looking a bit daunting to me these days, the goal, BRINGING CLEAN WATER to Africa, is the entire motivation.  If you would like to contribute to this wonderful cause, please consider sponsoring me by going to my Team World Vision Page.  OR join me!  Its not too late!

My legs will still be sore when Ron and I hop on a plane to North Carolina for a concert in Kernersville, and then head to JAMAICA!  We can hardly believe this is happening! We have two new friends after delightful conversations on WhatsApp over the miles with Tamara and Altano Morgan. They are putting together a huge "Praise Break" celebration in a 6000 seat amphitheater on May 11 to honor the CHILDREN of Jamaica during that nation's Children's Month.  They have huge hearts to bless and minister to the children of Jamaica and beyond with the love and truth of Jesus. We are SO honored to be part of this wonderful day!  We're pinching ourselves at the thought of it!

Oh, there is so much more to tell you....I could write forever.  We have VBSs coming up (I'm such a fan), more chapels and concerts all over the place, and in September, a HUGE trip to Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia for 2 packed weeks of concerts, workshops and ministry.  I'll write more about this later.

Even writing this down reminds me that we are the Body of Christ, connected to each other, dependent on each other.  We CANNOT do these things, nor accomplish anything of eternal value without the power of the Holy Spirit, and the power of the prayers of His people.  We TREASURE your prayers to be healthy, joyful, willing vessels and clear communicators of His love and good news.  Jesus is ALIVE!  HE is RISEN!  HE is returning...perhaps soon.  Thank you, friends for being about His kingdom business.  We are with you!
