I've been a Christian for a lot of years now (if I tell you how many, it'll give away my age! Many of you know that I met the Lord through Young Life in high school back in Palatine, IL, and you can count backwards....). ANYWAY, I have been in love with and following my Jesus for many years now. Although I can still be "thick in the head" and stubborn, this I DO know...when my delight is Him (studying His awesome Word, prayer, fellowship, serving people), my heart nearly explodes from the fullness of joy He brings in the smallest things....seeing a child praising Him, the glory of a sunset, the comfort and fun of a real friend, the thrill of meeting a need, the sheer, all-consuming joy of worshipping Him. Life can be so hard, but when we delight ourselves in Him, there are innumerable, unspeakable blessings. May these be yours, my friends as you delight yourself in HIM!
