Oh, to hear and see kids belting out this song--it does the soul good, and according to Psalm 8:2, it silences the foes of the Lord. That is powerful stuff, and its one of the reasons Ron and Jana Alayra do what they do--write and produce songs that help kids and families do just that....praise the Lord Jesus.
"Jump into the Light" is one of the many Jana Alayra songs sung and enjoyed by children around the globe. "Jump Jump Jump" (as many children call it) might be one of the first "Jana" songs children learn, but there are 5 children's CDs (including one in Spanish) and 7 DVDs of showing the motions, so there are dozens of songs floating around there by Ron and Jana Alayra that have made their way into the hearts and voices of countless children (and adults!).
God has given Ron and Jana a knack for creating catchy, biblical songs of praise for kids. Ron produces these with such excellence that adults enjoy them as much as the kids! Whether on stage live or on DVD, Jana makes an immediate connection with kids, which grabs their attention, draws them in, gets them involved, and brings the songs to life for them. Concerts with Jana (solo or with her band) are uplifting, joyful times of praise and worship for the whole family. Children from toddlers to tweenagers sing, dance, jump, shout, and participate on stage, while parents delight in watching them (maybe even sing along or shed a joyful tear). And always after the concert, Jana stays to meet every single child who would like to, which can often take hours!

Jana Alayra (mispronounced by kids in a million adorabe ways: "Jana Wawa," "Yanna Awiywa," or "Janala," to name a few) has become a household name to many families. Churches and youth groups also think of Jana as a friend as they sing and worship along with her songs and DVDs. Parents appreciate very much that Jana takes very seriously the influence she can have on these young hearts and minds. Her prayer is to be someone children and teens can identify with and recall as someone who truly loves Jesus and lives to serve and glorify Him.
Ron and Jana are busy year round ministering to children and families all over. Nearly every weekend you will find them giving a concert somewhere in the USA. Concerts range from a couple of hundred to thousands in size, but they always feel like one happy family in Christ, like you see here (click on text):

Midweek you will often find them ministering to preschoolers and school kids. Jana often speaks and sings for groups of women like MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Bible studies and other groups, then puts on a "mini-concert" for the children after her time with the women.

Jana and Ron also thoroughly enjoy singing for chapels at schools, sometimes with the band. To see and hear hundreds of gradeschoolers singing at the top of their lungs and doing the motions with Jana is a joy like no other! (clip coming)

All of Ron and Jana's CDs have become a fast favorites. Many a worship leader has commented that these songs have added tremendous life and energy to their worship times. Many a parent has called or written the Jana Alayra team to thank them for the joy and love for Christ these songs have brought into their homes.
